Purpose and acceptance

Petare.org is an informational website about Petare (Sucre municipality, Miranda state, Venezuela): its history, heritage, culture, food and everyday life. It does not sell products or services and does not require registration.

By using the website you accept this legal notice, the privacy policy and the cookie policy. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

Informational content

Articles are carefully prepared from public sources, testimonies and local knowledge, but they may contain errors or omissions, and some data (population, services, transport, safety, opening hours) change over time. They are for general information and do not replace official information.

If you spot an error, write to web.rut164@passinbox.com and we will review it. The owner is not liable for decisions made based on this content, except where the law does not allow such liability to be excluded.

Proper use

You agree to use the website lawfully and in accordance with this notice: without trying to damage or overload it or to access non-public areas, and without using automated systems to copy its content on a massive scale.

Intellectual property

The texts, design and code of Petare.org belong to its owner or are used with permission. You may link to any page and share it freely; to reproduce articles elsewhere you need permission, and you must always credit the source with a link.

Some photographs and images belong to their authors, who retain their rights. Embedded videos belong to their creators and are shown through YouTube’s official player. The Bricolage Grotesque and Instrument Sans typefaces are used under the SIL Open Font License, and the Leaflet map library under the BSD license. Maps and map data are © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the ODbL license.

Links to other sites

The website links to third-party pages (sources, institutions, videos) and the share buttons lead to external services (WhatsApp, Facebook, X, Telegram, email…). Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, for which the owner is not responsible.

Availability and changes

The owner may change the website, its content and these texts at any time, and does not guarantee that it will always be available or uninterrupted. The date of the last update appears at the end of each legal text.

Governing law and jurisdiction

This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be heard by the competent courts according to the law; if you are a consumer, those of your place of residence.

The website is available in Spanish and English. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
